Nina Kelly Named Executive Producer on Upcoming Folds of Honor Documentary

Nina Kelly is joining with DNA Films®, an Emmy® Award-winning film production studio, to serve as Executive Producer on the new Folds Of Honor documentary.

New Orleans, LA – Feb 18,  2019 – Nina Kelly signed on as an Executive Producer in a new “Mission for Good” documentary feature film from DNA Films®. The film will focus on the Folds of Honor Foundation; a 501C-3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing educational scholarships to the families of these heroic Americans, and its founder, Major Dan Rooney.

Since 2017, Major Rooney, an F-16 Fighter Pilot in the Oklahoma Air National Guard, has provided educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service men and women, and is committed to spending his life changing the futures of those spouses and children through those scholarships. Five-time Emmy Award winning Director Nick Nanton will direct this documentary about the incredible story behind the organization, Folds Of Honor.

As an Executive Producer, Kelly will attend the principal filming of the documentary, and be apart of this life changing experience while learning the incredible story behind the organization. The Folds Of Honor documentary will begin principal photography on location in February of 2019.

More About Nina Kelly:

Nina M Kelly is an Amazon best seller for Success Mastery, as one of the co-authors with Jack Canfield, she is a mythologist with an emphasis in depth psychology, storyteller, author, humanitarian, and cultural and arts activist. She also is an Archetypal Pattern Analyst and Dream Pattern Analyst. Nina’s sense of adventure has always been sparked through learning more about people and their cultures. Nina’s doctorate is from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Mythological Studies and Emphasis on Depth Psychology, her dissertation research was completed through Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dissertation, Myth Making and Modern Medicine, A Case of Kidney Transplantation. Her research work included reducing the rejection episodes post transplant implementing the power of stories and images. She published, The Lost Heritage, in Psychology at the Threshold.

Nina is also an Archetypal Pattern Analyst and Dream Pattern Analyst where she completed her studies from Assisi International Institute and published, Weaving Story Into The Web. 

As an executive film producer for the short film, Dandelion, the film won the judges award and has shown at several film festivals. She has also served as president of the New Orleans Opera Association, president of Southern Repertory Theatre, Chair for Loyola University School of Music Visiting Committee, president and CEO of the Childrens Bureau, publishing the history of the Children’s Bureau,

Saving Wednesday’s Child, authored by Mark Cave authoring the introduction and acknowledgements. Throughout her tenure has served on numerous non-profits boards.

Nina continues to challenge us through the inspiration and motivation of storytelling. She continues to believe that the art form of storytelling and story sharing originate from the heart of everyone searching for expression thus healing both listener and teller.
